Scion King of Beats US Finals (New York, Nov 2006).
Dante Ross (who once signed Tribe & De La) and Scion flew down 8 of the nation’s best producers, to have them go head to head to find out who’s best. M-Rock managed to stand out because as Just Blaze put it “he had beats and humiliation”. It was an exciting night with hip-hop history all over the place: Rahzel hosting, Large Professor in the crowd, Beatnuts backstage, DJ Premier in the VIP, etc.
New Years at Casaloma (Toronto, Dec 2010).
After a great first year doing nothing but rocking crowds, M was asked to play at one of the cities landmarks to close the year.
M-Rock meets Blue Raspberry (Detroit, March 2009).
On his way back from speaking at WMC in Miami, M-Rock met Blue Raspberry at the Submerge/Alter Ego offices through Nick Speed. Blue’s the vocalist you heard on all the Wu-Tang records, and she shows how she’s still got it – freestyling over a million different M-Rock beats playing right off his laptop. Music needs this woman.
Russell Peters Opening Routine (TV Nationwide, March 2009).
M-Rock’s production and demonstration of the music piece used for Russell Peters to enter into the 2009 Junos as the host. He walks into the Junos doing a Bhangra skit with Bollywood dancers and dhol players, pausing to say “who am I kidding?”, going into a b-boy routine. M-Rock demonstrates how his first ever TV piece was put together.

Live at the Parkdale Drink (Toronto, May 2010).
May 29th, 2010. DJ Tabs’ Get Down Saturday Night presents Aah Fresh. An amazing crowd that sings out every word with their fullest energy.
WMC (Miami, 2009).
A week in Miami, speaking on the topic of Digital Juggling at Winter Music Conference, partying through the week eating stamped empanadas with his Detroit playaz, and ending the week off with an unrehearsed jam session at Remix Hotel with DaShaun Jones of Alter Ego Management. The week ended, and the Junos were ready to air M-Rock’s first TV music production.
Making a beat in under 2 mins (Toronto, May 2010).
A good short clip on how to make a nice empty 80s rnb-ish type song, very vocal-ready, shot by a friend of M-Rock without him knowing.
